Major Productions Studio of Dance is a new and upcoming dance studio in the Ellenton/Parrish, FL community. The goal of our staff is to strive to create an amazing experience while providing quality dance lessons. We want their experience to SPARKLE so their dancer will SHINE on stage.

Purpose of Role

We are looking for a committed DANCE TEACHER who is passionate about their work, diligent, extremely reliable, an outstanding communicator and a dedicated team player.

In this role, you will be responsible for attending and teaching weekly dance classes, connection with parents, attend required performances, communication with the owner/director, Tracy Stratman, the rest of the MPSD staff, travel to and from competitions, etc.

The DANCE TEACHER will use their highly qualified talents to ensure that each dancer on every level has the experience of a lifetime while instilling the love of dance in their hearts. You are bringing your skills and talents to a company who strives to empower young boys and girls to thrive not only in dance but in life.

In this role you will:

Teach weekly dance classes with a set schedule. High knowledge of various styles of dance are a must. HIGH KNOWLEDGE OF BALLET IS A MUST.

Must be able to teach recreational dancers to the competitive level

Ages will range from 18 months - 18 y/o.

Delight our clients and exceed their expectations with above and beyond service and communication.

Attend required staff meetings are different locations throughout the community a few times per year.

Attend required recitals, community events, and competitions


Summer Workshop teaching schedule is also required

Become the head of the NEW MPSD Performance Team

Assist with basic admin responsibilities

Our mission is to continue to streamline everyone’s experience. Your role is an essential part of the experience to help our clients feel supported, valued and a cherished member of our dance family. You understand that service, clients and their care are highest priority. You always want people – no matter who it is – to have the best experience. This includes anticipating their needs and bringing a healthy dose of wow-factor to your interactions with clients. We aim to put a smile on our clients faces and a sparkle in their eyes.

A passion for excellence. You go above and beyond on tasks and hold yourself to a high standard of excellence in every project you take on. You are able to identify gaps and act quickly to resolve them.

Initiative. You have a strong ability to figure things out and think creatively to solve problems independently. In a small business, we must act swiftly and address challenges head on – your ability to think quickly and make magic happen will be essential.

An eye for detail. You will be on the front lines with parents and students. Always being attentive to every detail of every student is required. Must be able to share special in-class moments while remembering or observing basic things such as a new leotard or a new haircut.


To add to the special above and beyond experience, you must be willing to take photos and videos on a weekly basis to ensure we capture moments in class. These photos and videos will need to be emailed regularly to Tracy Stratman.


Staff is also required to write connection notes to parents for that added sparkle and magic.


Fabulous communication skills. You are outstanding at maintaining relationships and excel at making contact with parents on a weekly basis at class. You take personal responsibility for your actions and pride yourself on your integrity. You are kind, enthusiastic, exude warmth and find it easy to connect with people. Our greatest measure of success is client retention and you understand that the preserving and cherishing the relationships we have with our clients is top priority.

Rate: TBD based on experience.

Our company is growing quickly and we’re looking for long term team members to grow with us. The role is part time but can quickly move to more hours for the right person and the expansion of MPSD.
